Photo Restoration
The photograph on the left is a digital repair job from the vintage 1940's photograph on the right. The original 2x3, tattered photo was enlarged to a 5x7 image after repair. Other options could include removing the border, repairing vintage border or restoring the border to white. Color images, sepia images, and black and white images can all be cleaned restored, enlarged and printed.
Photo-Art Placemants
Dear DRG, “The superb photo-art placemats you created are a family treasure. They awaken historic memories and preserve ‘who we are’ for future generations. The finished product shows the amazing attention to detail you brought to the project along with your suggestions, impeccable results, and on-time delivery. Our entire family sends a big thank you to your team.” Earl M.
Large Format Repair
This century old, hand tinted portrait of Nicholas Thomas Revis was fragile and brittle. A 20 x 12 original had missing pieces, dust, tears, scratches and faded colors. It was scanned in four pieces on the flatbed scanner, then stitched back together using Photoshop before restoration. Nicholas is now mounted back in his original antique frame (inset).
Optional Double Side Scanning
We offer the option of 2-sided scanning which allows original notes on back of image to be preserved.
Specialty Scanning
Some images must be individually scanned. These include polaroids, large format pictures and documents.
Photo Manipulation
When a photo has an unwanted aspect like this light fixture, in many cases, we may be able to improve the image.
Colorization
Upon special request, this vintage photograph was to be paired in a side-by-side frame with a color photograph of another generation. These types of projects are priced on an individual basis. Ask us for more information if this fits your needs.
Flip Books
Creating digital flip books that include animation and sound are a fun way to preserve the album experience. Created to be viewed in any computer web browser or mobile device. See our flip book page for a sample movie.
Memorabilia
Family keepsakes come in all forms. Kathy C. had three old blue prints her father created in high school c1931. Before mounting and framing them for her home she had us scan them to send copies to her relatives. They were big, we had to scan them in pieces to get them into the system and then stitched them back together using photoshop.
“Knowing my Dad did this work as a teenager in high school makes these all that more amazing. I get emotional just looking at these.” Kathy C.
